City of Menifee’s State of the City Address to honor hometown heroes

The City of Menifee will salute its hometown heroes at its annual State of the City Address on Thursday, October 24, at 6:30 p.m. at the HCN Bank Stadium at Mt. San Jacinto College. Hosted in partnership with the Menifee Valley Chamber of Commerce, the State of the City Address is open to the public and free to attend.

The theme for this year’s event, “Hometown of Heroes,” was selected by Mayor Pro Tem Dean Deines and is intended to highlight individuals who go out of their way to make a difference in Menifee.

“Heroes can come in many forms and from all walks of life,” Mayor Pro Tem Deines said. “From our active service members and veterans to our first responders, to the non-profits and community leaders who continue to make a difference in our city, we have many heroes to celebrate here in Menifee.”

Leading up to the State of the City Address, the Menifee Valley Chamber of Commerce will hold a “Taste of Menifee” event outside the stadium starting at 5 p.m. This event features a sampling of cuisines from local eateries in the city. Tickets for the “Taste of Menifee” event are $75 per person and are available at www.menifeevalleychamber.com.
