On August 30, the Canyon Lake POA presented its Community Patrol report for July.
Community Patrol received 409 calls for service in July. Staff issued 164 citations to members, 116 citations to guests, and 139 warning citations.
Staff issued 23 parking citations, far fewer than the 479 parking citations issued the previous month. Four speeding citations were issued by staff and 34 speeding citations were issued by the speed trailers. Fifty-nine citations were issued for failure to stop at a stop sign.
Twenty e-bike citations, four illegal riding/towing citations, four noise citations, and 120 miscellaneous citations were issued.
Nine citations were issued for vandalism and 25 citations were issued for property damage.
Staff issued nine unauthorized entry citations and confiscated 197 guest passes at the entry gates.
The POA contracts its Community Patrol services. Its primary functions are compliance with rules and regulations, gate access control, and incident observation and reporting to the POA. For emergencies or to report a crime, residents should call 9-1-1, not Community Patrol.
