Canyon Lake POA presents Community Patrol statistics for August

On September 27, the Canyon Lake POA presented its Community Patrol report for August.

The report highlighted Community Patrol’s activities, showing a total of 308 calls for service. Staff issued 124 citations to members, 70 citations to guests, one citation to a service provider, and 127 warning citations.

Staff issued seven speeding citations and the speed trailer issued 34 citations. Twenty-six parking citations were issued.

In addition, staff issued 30 e-bike citations, eight failure to stop at a stop sign citations, one illegal riding/towing citation, two school bus enforcement citations, and three noise citations.

Two citations were issued for vandalism and 14 citations were issued for property damage.

Seventy-two citations were issued for miscellaneous violations.

Seven were issued for unauthorized entry and staff confiscated 154 guest passes.

The POA contracts its Community Patrol services. Its primary functions are compliance with rules and regulations, gate access control, and incident observation and reporting to the POA. For emergencies or to report a crime, residents should call 9-1-1, not Community Patrol.
