
Hundreds of classic cars will roll into Canyon Lake for the 18th Annual Car Show on Saturday, October 5. This popular event takes place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the lodge.
Hosted by the Canyon Lake Car Club and Property Owners Association, the Car Show features more than 200 classic cars, hot rods, and trucks, as well as merchandise and food vendors, a DJ, a raffle, and opportunity drawings.
The lodge will open at 11 a.m. and offer a burger and fries special. Other food options include Carl’s Concessions, Los Amigos, and Tiki Treats.
Awards for the top vehicles will be presented at 2:30 p.m. Canyon Lake Car Club members are not eligible for awards.
With temperatures expected to soar into the 100s, the POA encourages attendees to wear hats, use sunscreen, and stay hydrated.
Helping Hands Group will be accepting peanut butter donations. Project T.O.U.C.H. will be accepting donations of toilet paper.
There will be no parking at the lodge after midnight on October 4. Golf cart parking will be available between the corner of Canyon Club Drive and Lighthouse Drive to the stop sign entering the lodge parking lot.
Golf cart shuttles will be available on Canyon Club Drive and Lighthouse Drive to provide spectators transportation to and from the show during the event.
To help avoid possible damage to the vintage cars and for the safety of pedestrians, bicycles, scooters, and skateboards will not be permitted. Bicycle parking will be available along the fence only.
