The City of Canyon Lake invites the community to honor a veteran or active-duty service member this Veterans Day with a flag in the Field of Honor at the Veterans Memorial Park in the Towne Center.
Community volunteers will assemble the Field of Honor, which will feature approximately 200 American flags displayed from November 1 through November 15.
This patriotic tribute honors veterans and active-duty military personnel, providing a meaningful opportunity for the community to reflect on their service and sacrifices.
Flag sponsorships are available for $10 each. Each sponsored flag will include a yellow ribbon with the name of the honoree on it.
The last day to purchase a flag is November 1. Sponsorship forms are available at Pack, Wrap, and Post, 31566 Railroad Canyon Rd., during normal business hours.
Those who sponsor a flag are welcome to retrieve it from the Field of Honor on November 15 between 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and take it home as a keepsake.
