Winning Powerball ticket worth $243K sold at Chevron Station on Railroad Canyon Road

A winning Powerball ticket worth $243,664 was sold at the Chevron Station at 25361 Railroad Canyon Rd. in the City of Lake Elsinore.

The winner matched five out of five numbers but missed the Powerball number, narrowly missing out on the $437 million grand prize.

The odds of winning the grand prize were 1 in 292,201,338, while the odds of hitting five numbers were 1 in 11,688,054.

Additionally, four people matched four numbers plus the Powerball number, each winning $15,594.

The winning numbers for the October 19 draw are 7, 16, 19, 45, 64, and the Powerball of 25. While there were no jackpot winners in California for this draw, there were a total of 110,984 winning tickets in the state. Lottery prizes are based on the number of tickets sold and number of winners.

Winners have 180 days to claim their prize. Winners can collect prizes of up to $599 at any participating Lottery retail location. Prizes of more than $599 can be collected at any Lottery District Office or by mail.
