The local Helping Hands Group is currently seeking donations of new socks for its annual October Socktoberfest sock drive, benefiting struggling seniors in local communities as the weather turns colder.

Sock donations may be deposited in the Helping Hands collection bins located at Pack, Wrap, and Post in the Canyon Lake Towne Center and Canyon Lake Community Church.

The donated socks will be sorted, packaged, and delivered to local seniors in November,

For those too busy to shop, Helping Hands volunteers will purchase socks on your behalf. A $25.00 donation will cover the cost of four pairs of warm socks that will be hand-delivered to the home of a local low-income senior. Socks can be purchased at https://shophelpinghands.us/collections/program-support.
