Move your feet before you eat at the Canyon Lake Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot.

The beloved Thanksgiving morning Turkey Trot continues this year, thanks to a group of dedicated residents determined to preserve this cherished tradition.

Historically hosted by the Canyon Lake Triathlon and Fitness Club, the event faced uncertainty after the club’s recent disbandment. However, a few residents stepped in to ensure the Turkey Trot would go on, albeit without an official host.

This free event is open to Canyon Lake residents and their families. The Turkey Trot features a 5K run/walk suitable for all ages, with costumes highly encouraged to add to the festive spirit.
