Due to California’s ongoing budget shortfalls, the Riverside County court system is implementing employee furloughs one day per month beginning in 2025. The furloughs will occur one day per month and are expected to impact the availability of certain court services.
The court finds it necessary to take this action due to significant reductions in state funding for trial courts and resulting cuts in the Riverside Superior Court’s budget for fiscal year 2024/2025.
All courthouse locations will operate on reduced services on designated furlough days, providing only limited emergency services. The anticipated dates of limited services are January 17, February 14, March 28, April 18, May 23, and June 30.
Court users are encouraged to plan accordingly and check the Riverside County Superior Court website for updates or additional information regarding available services on these dates.
