City of Temecula, Riverside County Sheriff’s Department to host E-Bike Safety Workshop

The City of Temecula is partnering with the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department to host a free E-Bike Safety Workshop on Saturday, January 11, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Civic Center at 41000 Main Street. All ages are welcome.

Learn about e-bike safety and win prizes at this workshop aimed at raising awareness among youth e-bike riders. This informational workshop educates kids and parents about the rules of the road, e-bike laws, helmet safety, intersections with vehicles and pedestrians, and more.

This workshop is part of the city’s new wellness community-based initiative, Thrive Temecula, that offers free workshops to support a healthy lifestyle through active living, education, and community resources.

Upcoming winter/spring workshops include a Self Defense Workshop on January 22 at 6 p.m., a Trail Walk on February 8 at 9 a.m., Kids Healthy Cooking Workshop on March 1 at 11:30 a.m., Emergency Preparedness and Sidewalk SPR on March 8 at 10 a.m., Kids Fun Fitness Workshop on April 5 at 10 a.m., Yoga at the Park on May 10 at 1 a.m. and a Trail Walk at Sommers Bend Park on May 17 at 9 a.m. For more information, visit www.temeculaca.gov.
