The Canyon Lake Library is partnering with Neighborhood Forest to give away free trees to children in celebration of Earth Day.
Parents can register their children online and pick up their trees at the library in April. Registration for the free tree giveaway closes on March 15.

Last Earth Day, Neighborhood Forest gave away more than 67,000 trees to kids at more than 900 schools, libraries, and youth groups across North America. This year, Neighborhood Forest is aiming to reach more than 100,000 kids.
The Canyon Lake Library is located at 31594 Railroad Canyon Rd. Operating hours are from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Wednesday and Friday, and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday.
