Three of the five seats on the Canyon Lake POA Board of Directors are up for election in May when the terms of Jeff Bill, Alex Cook, and Joe Kamashian expire. All three board members are eligible to run for another term if they choose to.
Homeowners interested in running for a seat on the board must be a Canyon Lake POA prime or associate member in good standing and submit an Intent to Run form to the POA office.
Intent to Run forms became available at the POA office on January 31. Completed Intend to Run forms must be submitted to the POA office no later than March 3, at 3 p.m.
The Canyon Lake POA has a five-member board of directors, who are collectively responsible for the management and operation of the POA’s business affairs. The directors are elected by at-large for staggered four-year terms. The terms are staggered with three directors in odd years and two directors in even years.
Ballots and election rules will be mailed to homeowners on April 11. Associate members are not entitled to vote in the election. Prime members have one vote per unit/lot/parcel owned.
