The Canyon Lake Yacht Club announced the appointment of Tish Penner to its leadership team following a majority vote.
As purser, Penner will oversee the club’s financial stewardship, helping to maintain smooth operations and contribute to the continued success of the Yacht Club. In her new role, Penner is committed to protecting the club’s assets while ensuring compliance with financial responsibilities.
Penner has more than 35 years of experience managing finance departments for large organizations, making her a key addition to the leadership team.
“With a deep passion for Canyon Lake and our club’s mission, Tish understands the importance of sound financial processes and oversight,” Commodore Rob Mora said. “She is committed to protecting the club’s assets while ensuring compliance with our financial responsibilities. We are confident that her dedication and expertise will greatly benefit our club and community.”
Penner joins Rob Mora, who will continue at the helm as commodore for the second consecutive year, Vice Commodore Craig Brown, Yeoman Dona Ziegler, Membership Chair Cathy Lekawa, and Event Chair Cindy Silk-Gonzalez.
