The Canyon Lake POA announced it will be making changes to this year’s annual Fiesta Park Hopper event.
For more than four decades, this annual event was called Fiesta Day and featured a one-day celebration that included a hometown parade and festivities at the lodge. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the event was rebranded as Fiesta Park Hopper, expanding to a three-day format with activities spread across five locations throughout the community. This format received mixed reviews from the community.
This year, the POA is reverting to the original Fiesta Day name and scaling the event back to a single-day event, as it was prior to the pandemic. Additionally, the number of activity locations will be reduced from five to three locations: Holiday Harbor Park, Sierra Park, and the lodge.
In keeping with tradition, Fiesta Day will kick off with a hometown parade, followed by activities.
Fiesta Day will be held on Saturday, May 24. More details on the event schedule and activities will be announced in the coming weeks.
The POA also announced it will be hosting a Countryfest concert the day after Fiesta Day. Held from 4 to 9 p.m. at Holiday Harbor Park, the concert will feature four country acts: Ty Herndon, Kody West, Canaan Smith, and A Thousand Horses. Admission is free, making it a great opportunity for the community to enjoy live music in a scenic lakeside setting.
