Canyon Lake Little League’s Opening Day is set for Saturday, March 8, at 8 a.m.
Teams will enter the field at 9:45 a.m., followed by the official Opening Day ceremonies at 10 a.m. Ceremonies include a parade of players, a welcome from the president, the national anthem, and the first pitch. Games will follow the ceremonies, weather permitting.
In the morning, from 8 to 10 a.m., the snack bar will be serving a pancake and sausage breakfast for $8 or $5 for a two-pancake option. In the afternoon, hotdogs and hamburgers will be served from the grill. Woodbine Coffee Co., Barons Market, and other vendors will be on-site.
The community is invited to attend this event and cheer on the teams.
