Citizens Academy offers behind-the-scenes look at Murrieta Fire & Rescue

The Murrieta Fire & Rescue Citizens Academy is back, offering a unique, behind-the-scenes look at the life of a firefighter.

This six-week program, which runs from April 23 through May 28, will be held on Wednesdays from 6 to 9 p.m. at Fire Station 1, located at 41825 Juniper St.

Designed to be both educational and interactive, the Citizens Fire Academy gives participants insight into the essential services provided by Murrieta Fire & Rescue. Through a combination of classroom sessions and hands-on activities, attendees will explore topics such as fire behavior and operations, emergency medical services, auto extrication techniques, and more.

Enrollment is limited to 25 participants. Early registration is recommended. Priority will be given to Murrieta residents, business owners, and those seeking city ambassador status. All participants must be 18 or older To register, click here.
