The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department is searching for a driver involved in a fatal hit-and-run that occurred on Tuesday on Riverside Drive, west of Baker Street in the City of Lake Elsinore.
Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station deputies responded to the scene shortly before 1 p.m. and located a pedestrian in the roadway. The pedestrian was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver, who fled the scene, is “believed to be in a dark-colored vehicle.”
The Riverside Sheriff’s Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying the driver and vehicle involved in this incident. Anyone with information about this collision is asked to contact Deputy Keyser at 951-245-3000 or the Riverside Sheriff’s Dispatch at 951-776-1099.
