Lake Elsinore woman arrested on suspicion of robbery

On February 13, an employee of a retail store in the 18200 block of Collier Avenue in the City of Lake Elsinore notified the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department of a past theft. The theft was investigated and determined to be a robbery.

The reporting party stated a female suspect was inside the store selecting various cans of baby formula and concealing them inside a tote bag. As the female suspect exited the store, she allegedly assaulted the employee and fled without paying for the items.

On March 4, authorities detained the suspect, identified as 34-year-old Zurikka Saundrionna Herron of Lake Elsinore, during a traffic stop. She was transported to the Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station for further investigation and subsequently arrested on suspicion of robbery. Her bail was set at $30,000, according to jail records.

This is an ongoing investigation. Anyone with additional information is asked to contact Deputy Noel at the Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station at 951-245-3300.
