Last week, the Murrieta Police Department conducted a DUI saturation patrol during the evening hours, focusing on identifying impaired drivers and enforcing Primary Collision Factors (PCF) vehicle code violations.
PCF violations include speed, red light violations, stop sign violations, and cell phone use—leading causes of collisions.
During the one-night operation, officers issued 56 citations and one DUI arrest. Additionally, one individual was taken into custody on a felony warrant.
The department continues to prioritize road safety through proactive enforcement efforts.
