The City of Yucaipa City announced that City Manager Chris Mann will be stepping down at the end of the month. Mann, who has served as Yucaipa’s city manager for the past two years, previously held the same position in Canyon Lake from March 2019 through February 2023.
Mann’s tenure with Yucaipa will officially conclude on March 31. Mann and the Yucaipa City Council have mutually agreed to a leadership transition, signing a negotiated separation agreement to ensure a smooth change in administration.
Over the past two years, Mann has worked alongside the Yucaipa City Council to implement key initiatives focused on improving revenues, reducing homelessness, and fostering economic development, among other priorities.
As part of the transition process, the city will begin recruiting a new city manager to continue its mission of serving Yucaipa residents. The Yucaipa City Council expressed its appreciation for Mann’s service and extended its best wishes for his future endeavors.
