The Canyon Lake Yacht Club is kicking off its spring cruises with a full moon cruise on Saturday, April 12.
Boats will meet at the Holiday Harbor boat docks at 6 p.m., where attendees will share appetizers before setting sail for a cruise around the main lake at approximately 6:30 p.m. Attendees are asked to bring an appetizer to share and their own beverages.
After a scenic cruise around the main lake, the boats will tie up in Catfish Cove, where attendees can socialize, float in the lake, and enjoy the evening together.
This event is open to both Yacht Club members and members of the community. Boat ownership is not required, as non-boat owners are welcome to board Yacht Club boats as available.
The Yacht Club was established in 1990 by Canyon Lake residents who enjoyed time on the lake. The club maintains a busy social calendar, bringing members together for dinners, sunset cruises, and other recreation. The club also hosts Canyon Lake’s iconic Parade of Lights holiday boat parade and gives back to the community through its student scholarship program.
