An 18-year-old Lake Elsinore resident was arrested following an investigation into sales of marijuana vape pens to minors.
In December 2024, Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station deputies responded to a call for service regarding the sales of marijuana vape pens to minors. The call prompted an in-depth investigation into the allegations.
Through the course of the investigation, authorities identified Michael Anthony as the primary suspect. According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, Geck was allegedly using social media applications to advertise and distribute marijuana and nicotine vape pens to minors.
On March 28, Geck was detained at his residence, where a search warrant was served, and approximately 400 Xanax bars, a half ounce of cocaine, 193 THC-infused vape pens, 36 nicotine vape pens, flavored nitrous oxide canisters, various bottles of promethazine, a large amount of cash, and brass knuckles were located and seized.
Geck was arrested on suspicion of selling marijuana and tobacco products to a person under the age of 21, possession of cocaine with the intent to distribute, possession of brass knuckles, and selling marijuana without a license.
Geck posted bail and was released on April 4.
