The City of Lake Elsinore’s Economic Development Department announced Skydive Elsinore as the city’s May Business in Action Spotlight, recognizing its role in the city’s business scene. Locally owned, Skydive Elsinore has been serving the community since 1958 and has become a major tourist attraction in the city.
Skydive Elsinore is widely known as a must-visit destination for both seasoned thrill-seekers and first-time jumpers. The skydive experience features stunning aerial views of Lake Elsinore—Southern California’s largest freshwater recreational lake—the Ortega Mountains, and the Pacific Ocean.
Owners Josh Hall and Karl Gulledge are dedicated to the community, supporting and sponsoring a variety of local eventsincluding the Special Olympics, the Firefighter Demolition Derby, and Soul Survivor and Make a Wish activities.
Skydive Elsinore also supports charities and non-profits like Cops for Kids, the Riverside Sheriff Association, Animal Friends of the Valley, the Dana Point 5th Marines, the Supreme Soldier Foundation, the Foundation for Senior Care, and Austin Charters Special Needs. Their commitment to customer service, safety, and giving back exemplifies the values of a thriving local business and why Skydive Elsinore was selected as this month’s spotlight.
The Lake Elsinore City Council recognized Skydive Elsinore at its May 28 meeting. Mayor Brian Tisdale thanked Skydive Elsinore on behalf of the council and presented a certificate of recognition.
Business in Action Spotlight is part of the Economic Development Department’s Building Better Businesses (B3) program, an initiative in partnership with the Lake Elsinore Chamber of Commerce.
