On May 30, the Canyon Lake Property Owners Association presented its Community Patrol report for April. The report highlighted Community Patrol’s activities, showing 284 calls for service.
In addition to 42 warnings, staff issued 64 citations to members, 77 citations to guests, and three citations to service providers.
Twenty-five speeding citations, 35 parking citations, and 23 e-bike citations were issued.
Staff issued 39 failure to stop at a stop sign citations, two noise citations, one illegal riding/towing citation, one school bus enforcement citation, and 61 miscellaneous citations.
Four citations were issued for vandalism and 18 citations were issued for property damage.
Staff confiscated 84 guest passes and issued eight citations for unauthorized entry. Fourteen citations for misuse of access identification were issued.
The POA contracts its Community Patrol services. Its primary functions are compliance with rules and regulations, gate access control, and incident observation and reporting to the POA. For emergencies or to report a crime, residents should call 9-1-1, not Community Patrol.
