The Canyon Lake Yacht Club’s monthly summer cruises are in full swing. The Yacht Club invites the community to join them on an evening cruise and a firepit social gathering on Skipper’s Island on Friday, July 11.
Boats will meet at the Holiday Harbor boat docks at 6 p.m., where attendees will share appetizers before setting sail. Attendees are asked to bring their own beverages and an appetizer to share with the group.
After a short scenic cruise around the main lake, the boats will dock at Skipper’s Island, where attendees will enjoy a social gathering around the fire pit.
This event is open to both Yacht Club members and non-members. Boat ownership is not required—non-boat owners are welcome to ride aboard Yacht Club boats, as space allows.
This is an opportunity for community members to meet new people, enjoy an evening on the lake, and learn more about the Yacht Club in a relaxed, welcoming setting.
The Yacht Club was established in 1990 by Canyon Lake residents who enjoyed time on the lake. The club maintains a busy social calendar, bringing members together for dinners, sunset cruises, and other recreation. The club also hosts Canyon Lake’s iconic Parade of Lights holiday boat parade and gives back to the community through its student scholarship program.
