Six suspects were arrested on Wednesday during a retail theft operation in the 1800 block of Perris Boulevard in the City of Perris. The operation was conducted by deputies assigned to the Perris Sheriff’s Station Special Enforcement Team and Burglary Robbery Suppression Team, in collaboration with Loss Prevention personnel.
This proactive operation is aimed at curbing retail theft and enhancing the safety and well-being of both businesses and shoppers in the area. Throughout the operation, several individuals were observed stealing merchandise.
According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, the following individuals were arrested during the operation:
- Sheila Howard, a 60-year-old resident of Perris, was arrested for petty theft with priors.
- Curtis Lanier, a 36-year-old resident of Lake Elsinore, was arrested for petty theft with priors and outstanding felony warrants.
- Karen Springer, a 56-year-old resident of Moreno Valley, was arrested for petty theft and outstanding misdemeanor warrants for theft.
- Ramona Tapia, a 60-year-old resident of Moreno Valley, was arrested for shoplifting.
- Travon Freeman, a 24-year-old resident of Perris, was arrested for petty theft with priors.
- Jordyn Fobbs, a 22-year-old resident of San Jacinto, was arrested for burglary and probation violation.
