Canyon Lake POA to increase fines associated with motorcycles, prohibited vehicles

The Canyon Lake Property Owners Association (POA) Board of Directors approved a 28-day reading for a proposed revision to the fine schedule pertaining to the use of prohibited vehicles. The revision would update the fine associated with operating prohibited vehicles, such as motorcycles, on any street, lot, common area, or POA property within the subdivision.

The board approved to increase the fine from $100 to $1,000.

There is no change to the rule, which states that operating, riding upon or in, or transportation on or by, any motorcycle, two or three wheeled motorized vehicle, off-road vehicle, four wheeled motorcycle or similar vehicle on any lot, street, common area or CLPOA property within the subdivision is prohibited.

There are designated areas near the community entrances where residents and their guests may park their motorcycles on POA property at their own risk.
