Canyon Lake residents Todd and Lori Stover are inspiring young readers this summer by sponsoring a Kindle Challenge at the Canyon Lake Library.
The challenge runs from June 9 through August 23 and is open to Canyon Lake youth ages six through 12.
Participants are invited to join the Beanstack Challenge for a chance to win a Kindle tablet. To get started, children can stop by the library and ask for the special challenge code.
The challenge encourages reading through the summer and supports continued learning and imagination during the break from school.
The Stovers, passionate supporters of youth literacy, hope the challenge will spark a love for reading and help young minds grow. “We are starting this program for Canyon Lake youth first, but we hope to extend this challenge to surrounding communities in the near future,” Todd said.
