Canyon Lake POA investigating property damage, illegal bike activity, requests help from residents with cameras

The Canyon Lake Property Owners Association (POA) is investigating recent golf course property damage and illegal e-bike and electric motorcycle use.

To aid in its investigation, the POA is asking members of its Camera Program to review their surveillance footage and submit any images or videos that may help identify trespassers on the golf course and images or videos of illegal e-bike and motorcycle use.

The content will be placed in the database that the POA is creating. “The more data we gather, the better we get in identification and accountability,” the POA said.

Members of the Camera Program play an important role in the protection of the community and in helping the POA to solve crimes. “We have successfully used CCTV to prosecute vandals and trespassers,” the POA said.

Community members with relevant footage or information are encouraged to share it with the POA to help protect shared property and ensure the safety and enjoyment of all residents. The POA emphasized that anonymity is important and will be respected.

Images and videos, as well as any known addresses and identities, may be submitted to Community Patrol Manager Ken Toler at [email protected].
