Six teens were shot over the weekend at a Moreno Valley party, with five hospitalized with life-threatening injuries.
The shooting occurred on Friday around 10:56 p.m. in the 12000 block of Orchid Lane. Responding deputies located a male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds near the area of Hemlock Avenue and Orchid Lane. Four additional males suffering from gunshot wounds were located at the scene. Deputies rendered medical aid until emergency personnel arrived.
All victims were transported to local hospitals with life-threatening injuries. A sixth victim arrived at a local hospital and was determined to be connected to the same incident, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
The ages of the victims range from 14 to 18 years old.
