On June 29, the Canyon Lake Property Owners Association presented its Community Patrol report for May. The report highlighted Community Patrol’s activities, showing 346 calls for service.
In addition to 23 warnings, staff issued 70 citations to members, 46 citations to guests, and one citation to a service provider.
Staff issued 28 speeding citations, 36 parking citations, 70 failure to stop at a stop sign citations, three noise citations, and 58 miscellaneous citations. Ten 10 e-bike citations were issued.
Nine citations for unauthorized entry and 10 citations for misuse of access identification were issued. Sixty-six guest passes were confiscated.
Five citations for vandalism and 18 citations for property damage were issued.
The Canyon Lake Property Owners Association contracts its Community Patrol services. Community Patrol’s primary functions are compliance with rules and regulations, gate access control, and incident observation and reporting. For emergencies or to report a crime, residents should call 9-1-1, not Community Patrol.
