The spirit of summer and community fun will be in full swing on Saturday, August 9, at Indian Beach as the Canyon Lake Yacht Club hosts Canyon Lake’s 13th Annual Paddle and Pedal Regatta.
Previously organized by the Triathlon and Fitness Club, the Yacht Club took over this popular event last year, continuing the tradition of bringing the community together for a relaxed, family-friendly morning on the water.
This event kicks off with a group photo at 9 a.m., followed by a group paddle to the Eastport launch ramp and back—a round-trip journey covering approximately one mile.
All paddleboards, pedal boats, kayaks, canoes, and other non-motorized watercraft are welcome to participate.
Adding a splash of tropical fun, Hawaiian attire is encouraged. Prizes will be awarded for the best Big Kahuna (adult) and Little Kahuna (youth) costumes.
After the paddle, participants are invited to stay for socializing, a barbecue, and games at the beach. Participants should bring their own refreshments to stay cool and hydrated.
