The Canyon Lake POA Board of Directors approved the formation of an Equestrian Center Work Group (ECWG). The ECWG, along with its advisory ECWG Board, will serve as a partner to the POA Board, general manager, and staff.
The role of the ECWG is to advise and assist the POA Board, general manager, and staff, and identify operational improvements, safety enhancements, and member engagement strategies to support the facility and the broader community.
The POA is accepting applications for the ECWG. Residents who have experience with horses, facility operations, or a passion for volunteering and community development are encouraged to apply.
Director Lainie Cooney will serve as the POA Board liaison to the ECWG. The full charter will be posted on the POA website sometime over the next few days.
Nestled near the north gate entrance at 29221 Longhorn Drive, the equestrian center is an exclusive boarding and training facility for residents. The center’s amenities include 17 barn stalls, 36 outdoor pipe stalls, two double wash racks, grooming areas, a jumping arena, a hot walker, a western/dressage arena, a round pen, a turn-out arena, and easily accessible riding trails.
