A Corona man was arrested on Friday in connection with a shooting that occurred in January in the City of Lake Elsinore.
On January 3, deputies responded to reports of gunshots at a residence in the 31600 block of Saddle Ridge Drive in the City of Lake Elsinore and located evidence of a shooting. No one was inside the residence was struck by gunfire.
During a review of video surveillance, an unknown male was observed firing a gun at the residence. With the assistance of the Lake Elsinore Sheriff Station’s Special Enforcement Team, the Region 4 Gang Task Force identified the suspect as 19-year-old Jalen Craig of Corona.
Jalen Craig was taken into custody on July 18 and booked on suspicion of shooting in an inhabited dwelling.
