Join the Canyon Lake Yacht Club for a Jimmy Buffett-themed cruise on Friday, August 22.
Boats will meet at the Holiday Harbor docks around 6 p.m. for a time of finger food sharing, libations, and meeting new and old friends. After an hour of socializing, boats will take a slow cruise around the main lake and then tie up in Catfish Cove to listen to all the great Buffett songs.
Bring your tropical spirit, a dish to share, and your favorite boat drink. Boat ownership is not required, as non-boat owners are welcome to board Yacht Club boats as available.
The Yacht Club was established in 1990 by Canyon Lake residents who enjoyed time on the lake. The club maintains a busy social calendar, bringing members together for dinners, sunset cruises, and other recreation. The club also hosts Canyon Lake’s iconic Parade of Lights holiday boat parade and gives back to the community through its student scholarship program.
