A female driver was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries after striking a parked car and overturning her vehicle on Friday evening.
The incident occurred around 8:30 p.m. on Vacation Drive, just a few yards away from the Canyon Lake Fire Station.
Witnesses reported that the driver clipped a parked truck, causing their own vehicle to roll completely over and come to a rest on its roof.
The Canyon Lake Fire Department, AMR, and the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department responded to the scene. The driver was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.
Vacation Drive was reduced to one lane, with deputies assisting in traffic control.
Authorities confirmed that alcohol was not a contributing factor in the crash. No other occupants were in the vehicle, and no additional injuries were reported.
