During the June meeting of the Canyon Lake City Council, Captain James Rayls of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department presented the second quarter crime stats for the City of Canyon Lake.
In April, there were 213 dispatched calls and 230 proactivity calls, for a daily average of 7.1 calls. One felony and eight misdemeanor arrests were made. There were three aggravated assaults, three larcenies, one DUI, five traffic collisions, and four citations.
The average response times in April were 8.50 minutes for Priority 1 calls, 19.56 minutes for Priority 2 calls, 32.95 minutes for Priority 3 calls, and 31.44 minutes for Priority 4 calls.
In May, there were 250 dispatched calls and 184 proactivity calls, for an average of 8.06 calls. One felony and five misdemeanor arrests were made. There were two aggravated assaults, one burglary, one larceny, two DUIs, two traffic collisions, and two citations.
The average response times in May were 7.53 minutes for Priority 1 calls, 20.21 minutes for Priority 2 calls, 44.24 minutes for Priority 3 calls, and 49.24 minutes for Priority 4 calls.
In June, there were 226 dispatched calls and 230 proactivity calls, for an average of 7.53 calls. One felony and five misdemeanor arrests were made. There were two aggravated assaults, nine larcenies, three DUIs, five traffic collisions, and four traffic citations.
The average response times in June were 7.26 minutes for Priority 1 calls, 17.19 minutes for Priority 2 calls, 47.13 minutes for Priority 3 calls, and 43.75 minutes for Priority 4 calls.
