The Mermaids of Canyon Lake Club is once again diving into a creative project to give back to the community—this time with the release of a 2026 wall calendar.
The club is invites residents to showcase their photography skills by submitting images for a photo contest that will determine which photos will be featured in the calendar.
Residents are encouraged to submit photos that capture the beauty, lifestyle, and spirit of Canyon Lake. A panel of judges will select 12 winning photos to represent each month in the calendar, with each winner receiving a $50 gift card. One outstanding photo will be chosen for the front cover of the calendar. The winner of the cover photos will receive a $100 gift card.
The glossy, full-color calendars (11″ x 8.5″ saddle-stitched) will be distributed free of charge to residents, with production funded entirely through advertising sponsorships and donations.
To enter the contest, email photos to Nicole Taylor at [email protected]. Photo submissions are due by Monday, October 6. The winners will be announced on Monday, October 13. The calendars will be distributed around Thanksgiving.
