The Canyon Lake 9ers Golf Club welcomed 10 new members following its four-week women’s golf clinic, held from August 20 through September 10 at the Canyon Lake Golf & Country Club. Club representatives credited the surge in membership to the fun, welcoming atmosphere and the excellent instruction provided during the clinic.
This year’s clinic drew an impressive turnout, with approximately 30 women signing up. Two Wednesday morning sessions were offered, taught by assistant golf professionals Erick Hoagland and Theo Delehanty. The instructors were praised for their patience, knowledge, and ability to make learning enjoyable for both beginner and intermediate female players.
The 9ers are excited to welcome their newest members: Carol Rippstein, Dana Mrazik, Karen Sunny Wagner, Kimberly Perkins, Jiman Han, Lisa Walker Dodd, Patrice Brand, Rachel Garcia, Rachel Herrin, and Susie Slayton. A celebratory meet-and-greet was held for the new members.
The goal of the 9ers Golf Club is to create and maintain a professional and friendly atmosphere that motivates female golfers of all levels by teaching the sport with honor and integrity to new golfers.
