Canyon Lake residents holding garage sales during the community-wide garage sale last weekend were treated to a sweet surprise, thanks to local real estate agents Kyler Battleson and Trace Emerson of TK Realty Group.
For the second consecutive year, Battleson made it his mission to personally deliver donuts to every household participating in the event.
This year, Battleson enlisted the help of his new business partner, Trace Emerson, to help with the effort. Together, the duo purchased and personally delivered 225 boxes of donuts to 225 homes across the community, greeting residents with breakfast treats and smiles.
Starting at 5:30 a.m., the duo worked tirelessly, completing their mission at 11 a.m., spreading joy and reinforcing the sense of community that events like the community garage sales are meant to foster.
Raised in Canyon Lake, Battleson consistently shows up his community, whether it’s delivering free donuts to the Community Garage Sale participants, donating fishnets for the Lake Cleanup Day, sitting in a dunk tank for a club fundraiser, participating in community events, supporting Little League, or donating containers of water for community events such as Fiesta Day and National Day of Prayer. It’s no surprise that the Canyon Lake Property Owners Association honored Battleson as its August Member of the Month.
