The City of Lake Elsinore’s Economic Development Department announced Stadium Pizza as the October 2025 Business in Action Spotlight, part of the Department’s Building Better Businesses (B3) initiative.
A family-owned restaurant and brewery, Stadium Pizza opened in Lake Elsinore in 2017. With roots dating back to 1988, the business has grown into a regional favorite known for its sports-themed atmosphere, customer service, and dedication to youth, education, and charitable causes.
Under the leadership of Rick and Sandy Kordick, Stadium Pizza has expanded its impact through the Locker Room Brewery, offering 30 taps—including 15 of their own craft beers—and creating a welcoming space for families, sports teams, and visitors.
Stadium Pizza actively supports local nonprofits, including Cops for Kids, Michelle’s Place Cancer Resource Center, and the Lake Elsinore Valley Chamber of Commerce. It also partners with schools to provide “star student” pizza certificates and employment training for students and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Stadium Pizza was recognized at the October 28th city council meeting. “Stadium Pizza is more than a restaurant—it’s a symbol of Lake Elsinore’s spirit,” Mayor Brian Tisdale said. “Their commitment to youth, inclusion, and community service makes them a true Business in Action.”
The Business in Action Spotlight program is a free monthly recognition initiative celebrating local businesses that go above and beyond to serve the community. In partnership with the Lake Elsinore Valley Chamber of Commerce, the program showcases the diversity, dedication, and innovation of businesses throughout the city.
