This year, the City of Lake Elsinore will be holding its Tree Lighting Ceremony on a new day, rather than being held on the same day as Winterfest, as in years past.
The community is invited to gather on Thursday, December 4, at 6 p.m. on Main Street for a festive evening filled with holiday cheer, live entertainment, a touch of snowfall, and photos with Santa.
Attendees can warm up with a cup of hot chocolate or coffee from one of the local downtown shops as the city celebrates the start of the holiday season.
Winterfest will be held on Saturday, December 6, at 4 p.m., with the parade starting promptly at 5:15 p.m. along Main Street. The parade will feature decorated floats, performers, and marching bands. Following the parade, entertainment will be plentiful with a variety of family-friendly activities and food vendors offering delicious eats, treats, and warm beverages.
