In the spirit of November—a month dedicated to giving thanks and helping those in need—Yard Fresh, a local pet waste management company serving Southwest Riverside County, is hosting its 4th Annual Blanket Drive to benefit Animal Friends of the Valleys.
Community members are encouraged to donate new or gently used blankets and other pet supplies to help keep shelter animals warm and comfortable this season. Suggested donations include new or gently used blankets, quilts, sheets, towels, pet accessories, and unopened food an litter.
Donations can be placed in collection bins through November 30 at the following designated drop-off locations:
- The Lyons Den Spa, 31532 Railroad Canyon Road, by appointment only
- East Port Park Dog Park, Canyon Lake
- The House of Bronze, 31562 Railroad Canyon Rd., Canyon Lake
- Fitness 19, 26100 Newport Rd., Menifee
- The Transformation Camp Menifee, 29732 Hub Drive, Menifee
- VIP Florist, 25030 Hancock Ave, Murrieta
- Arise Yoga Studio, 24710 Washington Ave., Ste. 4, Murrieta
- Fitness at Socal, 39621 Los Alamos Rd., Ste. C, Murrieta
- Sofa Spectrum, 26760 Jefferson Ave., Ste. 106, Murrieta
Donations will also be accepted at the City of Canyon Lake’s Turkey Drive on November 20 from 2 to 4 p.m.
