The City of Menifee is ringing in the holiday season with three festive community events: the annual Christmas Tree Lighting and Holiday Bazaar, Xtream Light Fight, and Breakfast with Santa.
The Christmas Tree Lighting and Holiday Bazaar will take place on Saturday, December 6, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Mt. San Jacinto College, located at 28237 La Piedra Rd. The festivities will include a community parade, food and craft vendors, community performances, photos with Santa, a snow zone, and more. Admission to the snow zone is free with a non-perishable food donation at the Menifee Community Cupboard booth or with an unwrapped gift for Santa’s Workshop.
The Xtream Light Fight Holiday Home Decorating Competition provides residents with an opportunity to show off their holiday decorating skills. Residents have until Sunday, December 7, to enter the competition. This year’s categories include Best Theme, Clark Griswold, North Pole Neighbor, Inflatable Fun, and Community Favorite. On Saturday, December 13, enjoy a jolly breakfast with Santa, crafts, and live music at the Kay Ceniceros Senior Center, located at 29995 Evans Road. There are three breakfast sessions to choose from: 8 a.m., 9:15 a.m., and 10:30 a.m. Registration is required. Tickets cost $15 for Menifee residents and $18 for non-residents.
