During the December 10 meeting of the Canyon Lake City Council, the Canyon Lake Fire Department presented its report for November, highlighting 80 calls for service.
Calls for service include four fire calls, 50 rescue/EMS incident calls, four service calls, 18 good intent calls, and four false alarms/false calls.
The average dispatch to en route response time was 0.51 minutes, en route to arrival time was 5.03 minutes, and dispatch to arrival time was 6.00 minutes. These times represent the average of all Code 3 EMS responses in the city. They do not include auto/mutual aid incidents.
The 90 percent fractile dispatch to en route response time was 1.19 minutes, en route to arrival time was 7.08 minutes, and dispatch to arrival time was 8.06 minutes.
Cal Fire responded to the City of Canyon Lake seven times in November. The Canyon Lake Fire Department responded to nine incidents outside the city. They include eight incidents in Lake Elsinore and one incident in Good Hope.
Some of the department’s community outreach in the month of November included the POA Tree Lighting, Lions Club Toy Drive, the city’s Veterans Day event, AMR barbecue, and the city’s Turkey Drive.
