The City of Temecula has announced the cancellation of its annual New Year’s Eve Grape Drop celebration due to forecasted wind and rain. The drone show and other festivities scheduled at the Civic Center are also canceled.
Although the main event is canceled, the city will feature a special grape bunch projection on City Hall.
While the Civic Center celebration won’t take place this year, residents can find New Year’s Eve celebrations happening around the city. From Old Town Temecula to the surrounding wineries, as well as Pechanga Resort and other local venues, many destinations will be hosting their own celebrations with live music, dining, and countdowns.
