A community bingo fundraiser is being organized to support the Hales family, who lost two of their children, their home, and several pets in an early morning fire five days before Christmas. The surviving family members were hospitalized as a result of the fire.
The fundraiser will be held on Thursday, January 15, from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Sports Stop Pub & Grill, located in the Canyon Lake Towne Center at 31586 Railroad Canyon Road. Reservations are not required to participate.
Entry is $20, and all proceeds will go directly to the Hales family to assist with funeral expenses, recovery and rebuilding efforts. Opportunity drawing tickets will also be available for purchase during the event.
Organizers are also seeking door prizes to help raise additional funds. Anyone interested in donating a prize is asked to contact Megan Cortez at 714-745-1362.
