After more than a decade, the Canyon Lake monthly Roundtable continues to strengthen communication and collaboration among key agencies and organizations serving the community.
Established by former Mayor Randy Bonner and currently led by Mayor Jeremy Smith, the roundtable brings together representatives from the Elsinore Valley Municipal Water District, Canyon Lake Property Owners Association, Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, Canyon Lake City Council, Canyon Lake Fire Department, and Canyon Lake City Manager’s Office.
The forum provides a consistent space for open dialogue, coordination, and proactive problem-solving on issues impacting Canyon Lake residents.
The roundtable meets monthly, allowing participants to share updates, discuss current concerns, and explore opportunities for cooperation. By convening leaders from multiple sectors at the same table, the city aims to improve transparency, streamline communication, and ensure alignment on priorities related to public safety, infrastructure, city services, and overall quality of life.
In addition to its core participants, the roundtable periodically welcomes guests whose work intersects with city initiatives. These guests have included representatives from the Canyon Lake Chamber of Commerce, local nonprofit groups, and CR&R Environmental Services, providing valuable community perspectives.
