The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a homicide after a deceased man was found on Sunday in the unincorporated area of Nuevo.
On January 18 at approximately 12:28 p.m., deputies from the Perris Sheriff’s Station were dispatched to the area of Nuevo Road and Foothill Avenue following a report of a deceased person. Responding deputies checked the area and located a deceased adult man.
During the investigation, it was discovered that the victim had traumatic injuries. Based on the circumstances surrounding the incident, it was determined to be a homicide.
The victim’s identity is being withheld at this time pending notification of next of kin.
