Canyon Lake Little League is gearing up for its Opening Day celebration on Saturday, March 7, promising a day of baseball, community spirit, and family fun.
Festivities will start at 8 a.m. with a pancake breakfast and vendor shopping. Teams will line up on the field at 9:30 a.m., setting the stage for the official Opening Day ceremony and parade at 10 a.m.
The ceremony will include a parade, the president’s welcome, the national anthem, and the first pitch—a time-honored tradition that marks the start of a new season.
The games will start at 11 a.m., as players take to the field and the 2026 season officially gets underway.
The evening before, on March 6, the league will host Friday Night Lights, with games at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. Spectators are welcome.
